Volunteer
Every family volunteers. It is how the season runs at all.
Volunteers working rather than watching — canteen, chain crew, 50/50 sellers in the stands. Parents, not players. This is the one page where the subject is the people on the sideline.
Each family provides a $200 volunteer bond, preferably by cheque dated 1 December. It is returned once equipment is handed back and a volunteer commitment has been met — the cheque is not cashed if you volunteer.
There are four ways to meet it: one game shift, a three-hour shift at a fundraising event, donating a raffle prize worth $200 or more, or helping with player meals.
A game needs seven volunteers: three on the chain crew, two in the canteen and two selling 50/50. Varsity parents are welcome to take a JV shift so they can watch their own child play.
The volunteer coordinator is the person to ask, and the address below reaches whoever holds that role.
