Not a game — the people around one. Parents at the chain gang, someone running the canteen, a coach and a player talking. This section is about time rather than money, and the photograph should say so.
A high school football programme runs on volunteers. Coaching staff, game-day crew, the canteen, fundraising, transport — none of it happens without parents and alumni giving up evenings.
